Results
In part A of the experiment when the Pb(NO3)2 was mixed with KI the solution turned a bright yellow. After ten minutes the reactions had stopped leaving yellow debris on the bottom of each well. The well that had the most debris was B1. B1 had a ratio of 1:2 one drop of Pb(NO3)2 and 2 drops of KI. The five different ratios were 1:2, 1:1, 2:1, 5:1 and 1:5 that is the order of the most debris going from greatest to least. The Ca(NO3)2 and Na2C2O4 did the same thing except that the mixture was grayish white and the ratios were different. The ratios were 2:1, 1:1, 1:2, 1:5 and 5:1 going from most to least debris.
Conclusion
So what I learned from this experiment is that most reactions have a limiting reaction. A limiting reaction is when two or more compounds react together and one of the compounds gets consumed before the other those limiting the reaction.
